The rotary vane (or sliding vane) range works on the principle of positive displacement using a rotating shaft fitted with sliding vanes to create pressure or vacuum. Due to the nature of their application and design, these compressors/vacuum pumps require oil-lubrication to the vanes in order to maintain their high operating efficiency. Pressure capability is up to 22 barG, with flows of 12,000 m3/h while vacuums of 5.10-4 Torr can be achieved. All models can be supplied as basic units or as part of a fully assembled and tested skid package, complete with detailed user instructions and where applicable, ATEX approval.
Air Cooled - These models allow the generation of medium range pressure and vacuum without the need for water cooling. All models are directly driven by the motor with an integrated cooling fan. Other features include a special treated body which creates less friction and consequently; less noise, lower power and longer blade life. All models can be supplied as basic units or as part of a fully assembled and tested skid package.
Water Cooled - When high pressure and vacuum are required, the machines require a form of water cooling to maintain acceptable operating conditions. Water can be supplied from site or from a closed loop re-circulating system. Water is fed around a cooling jacket cast into the body of the machine. As with the air cooled models, internal surface treatment is available to improve operating costs. All models can be supplied as basic units or as part of a fully assembled and tested skid package.
Accessories
- A full range of accessories can be supplied to compliment the rotary vane
design. These include; intake filters, flexible connectors, oil/water separators
with high filtration ceramic elements, safety valves and control and monitoring
instrumentation.
