Side Channel: General
Northey have supplied side channel blowers for over 20 years and currently offer three Elektror ranges to suit a wide range of duties and budgets.
Side channel blowers are generally supplied as close coupled units with the balanced impellor mounted directly onto the motor shaft. There is no need for a gearbox or any lubrication. This makes the units quiet and vibration free in operation and virtually maintenance free.
A variety of drive options are available across the ranges including belt driven and diesel engine. Acoustic hoods available for further noise reduction. The main advantages include quiet, vibration-free operation; no contacting parts to wear; no lubrication or gears; and virtually maintenance free.
