Service Department and Service Contracts - We have a dedicated service department of experienced engineers, trained in onshore and offshore working practices. This department was created exclusively to support and enhance our field presence, and has underlined Northey's commitment to its customers. We aim to respond to site visit requests immediately and in most cases can have an engineer available on site within 48 hours.

 

Method statements and other required documentation are prepared in advance of a visit to keep delays to a minimum. In addition our service vehicles are fully kitted out and carry both consumable spares and the necessary tools to facilitate any unplanned requirement i.e. replacement of damaged filter elements or worn belts/coupling, etc.

Subject to availability, we also offer our customers the benefit of a service exchange system. As many older machines in the field require servicing, we can offer direct replacement machines to eliminate any process downtime. This system has worked extremely well, especially in applications that rely on continuous operation.

 

 

For total peace of mind, we offer service contracts with scheduled visits to monitor machine performance and advise on condition. This has proved extremely popular for those customers who have limited support personnel.

 

. Spares - In line with our customer support policy, we have also prepared our stock of spare parts to reflect the importance of minimal downtime. The most common consumable items can be despatched immediately from stock, including service kits which contain all the necessary items to carry out a full overhaul of a machine. Our order documentation makes identification of any spare part easy, and with this information parts can be located and supplied quickly
Overhauls - Should an overhaul be required in future years, Northey is equipped and prepared to carry out either on-site servicing or full overhauls in our workshops. Every machine is stripped, rebuilt with new components (i.e. bearings, seals, etc.) and fully tested in accordance with original build conditions, thus ensuring continued reliability.

Technical Support
- As Northey carries out all of its own design and manufacturing, we are able to quickly and efficiently respond to questions raised by either our customers or service teams in the field - ensuring minimal disruption to site operations. Our internal sales team appreciate the importance of responding quickly and will liase with the necessary departments to resolve any matters to the satisfaction of our customer. This may be from the supply of a simple document, through to providing advice on an operational query, not always related to the machine itself.
